Sleep in a traditional house of Toraja

I liked the houses with the traditional toraja style. Personen was very friendly and helpful.

The whole hotel could need some renovation. It's a little outdated and things are falling apart.

The best breakfast and good sleep :)

Very nice and helpful staff, great breakfast, comfy bed, quiet.

Well, the price.. Walk in guests could get a standard room for about a half of the price I booked though booking.com. Also, the location is far from town (to be fair though - hotel provides car for guests - to Rantepao and back to hotel). Internet - only in the lobby.

This has the potential to be a great hotel but falls way short.

I loved the room itself. it was large and comfortable

There was no hot water. The restaurant was sub par and overpriced. The hotel felt more like a convention center than a hotel. very little attention on guests. Noisy.

it looks like it used to be a nice hotel long time ago. room is kind of an adventure to explore. staff is really nice

i know this is an aged place, but it could be at least maintained with the most basic measures. cleaness is an issue here. we were not so sure, if the bedding in our room was washed before. did not smell fresh. tablecloth in restaurant not washed, kept collecting stains from day to day. toilets in public areas not cleaned once in our 5 days stay. I walked by accident into the restaurant kitchen. would consider eating outside. pool dresscode not enforced. so if 50+ people coming from the village on Sunday for a swim fully dressed up, did not look too appealing. warm water only in the evening.

This hotel has beautiful rooms, lobby and pool and so much potential. Sadly, they lack service. No scooters to rent on l

The room was large and very comfortable with nice view. cleaning service was top notch

There was no hot water. Luke warm at best. it was a shame because there was a large tub I would have loved to use. The restaurant was sub par and pricey.

Good, considering.......

This is a perfect place to stay for exploring the Toraja area and the hotel was obviously designed to compliment the surroundings. The staff are pleasant and try to be helpful. The dining menu is limited but the food is better than you expect it to be.

The hotel is really quite tired but, given the lack of tourist during covid and that this is not an area for high spending tourists anyway, it is perhaps unsurprising that things have been somewhat "let go". The hotel was almost empty when we were there so it had a rather neglected atmosphere. Despite requests the hot water never rose above tepid. The electrics seem quite old and careful juggling required to keep phones etc charged. WiFi in hotel lobby only.

Our stay with this hotel was unpleasant and bad experiences

1. The room is dirty 2. The food is not clean and messy 3. When we wanted to check out, they had agreed to take the suitcase. we've been waiting a long time. apparently after that, they told us that the person who would take the suitcase was eating and we had to wait. If we are catching a plane then this is a crucial thing 4. The pool is dirty 5. They did not clean the bathtub cleanly. It was slippery 6. They did not refill the tissue box Wr did not take the photos because we were so annoyed and disappointed! Besides the room rate are not commensurate with the facilities and services To sum up, our stay was unpleasant!!!

« Un bon séjour dans un bel hotel vieillissant. »

Un hotel qui a beaucoup de charme, belle architecture. Un petit déjeuner correct sous forme de buffet (sauf 1 jour ou nous étions apparemment seuls, un menu nous a été proposé.)

Hotel vieillissant, qui a besoin d'une restauration. Chambres trop sombres ou éclairage à refaire. Une attaque d'insectes (une centaine de ???? a envahi la chambre en pleine nuit) Le staff est venu nettoyer immediatement et a vaporisé un insecticide. En fait la moindre lumière attire toute sorte d'insectes dans la chambre très mal isolée... Très à l'écart de la ville. Véhicule indispensable pour aller le soir en ville

« Hotel luxueux mais un peu vieux »

Belles chambres dans des bâtiments construits dans le style local, décoration des chambres de style colonial, belle piscine bien entretenue, restaurant de bonne qualité

Hotel un peu fatigué, peut être à cause du manque de touristes pendant le Covid: toilettes un peu cassées, peinture défraîchie par endroits... Pas de WiFi dans les chambres, uniquement à l'accueil

Pas de wifi dans les chambres et très faible dans le lobby , peu d'eau chaude , pas assez de lumière, restaurant très mauvais , matériaux de mauvais goût, décoration sans intérêt, lobby très triste : un hall de gare , plein de courants d'air , bruyant et sans lumière ( impossible de lire ). Bar inexistant .

«Evitate le camere che danno sulla strada di accesso»

Le camere sono vecchie con tendaggi rovinati e strappati. Le camere davano sul viale d'ingresso dove vengono fatti parcheggiare i bus che restano accesi a lungo trasformando le stanze in camere a gas. Manca completamente l'insonorizzazione per cui vi era anche disagio acustico sin da prima dell'alba.

„Ein schöner Ort um ein paar Tage zu relaxen oder von dort Ausflüge zu machen.

Großzügig und schön angelegte Hotelanlage mit etlichen traditionellen Toraja-Häusern und Zimmer in “normalen” Gebäuden.

Eigentlich nichts; die Anlage ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was uns aber nicht gestört hat.

„Ein eindrucksvoller Aufenthalt in schöner Umgebung.

Schöne, traditionelle Häuser im Toraja-Stil, teilweise fantastische Aussichten vom oberen Stockwerk, ruhig gelegen, große Räume und Bäder, sehr freundliches Personal, besonders die Chefin.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommene Anlage, veraltete Bäder, von der Hauptstraße in Rantepao ohne GPS bzw. Google nicht zu finden wegen fehlender Beschilderung.

„Toraja-Feeling mit kleinen Abstrichen.

Wunderschöne Anlage, gutes Frühstück.

Bett hat gewackelt, dunkles Zimmer, zu viel Fleischangebote sowohl beim Frühstück wie auch beim Abendessen. Teile des Personals konnten kein vertretbares Englisch.
